COVID-19 and Retail Price Volatility

Gro’s recent analysis of volatility in produce prices shows that, while COVID-19 has had a major impact on prices, fresh produce has long been one of the most volatile markets in the world. During this webinar, we will introduce a new, data-driven approach to produce price analysis and discuss how it can be used to better manage buying and marketing decisions in fresh produce.

In This Webinar We Will:

  • Quantify and analyze price seasonality with granular retail price data
  • Analyze historical produce price volatility data for insight into what’s normal vs. extraordinary price movement
  • Demonstrate ways to anticipate supply disruptions before they occur, with near-real-time climate and trade data from key growing regions
