For All Interviews

Gro is using AI-powered technology to answer some of the most challenging questions facing the world today. If you’re looking for your work to have a bigger impact, then we want to hear from you. 

Our interview process will vary depending on the team. After submitting your application, you can expect an initial phone screening. From there, you may be invited to several follow-up interviews across teams. 

Because we do work as one collaborative team, the interview process will include an array of sessions ranging from junior candidates to founders. Founders meet every final candidate to both give the candidate a chance to meet them, but also to show how much we value maintaining the Gro culture and supporting the team. We believe value is added at every level, and you will have the opportunity to meet both your peers and superiors.

For Technical Interviews

During engineering and data science interviews, we are looking to see a deep understanding and technical knowledge base, as well as an ability to apply this knowledge to our long-term goal of becoming the go-to platform for climate and agricultural data. Applicants can both troubleshoot a Linux performance issue and invent a new solution, identify areas of improvement and still be practical about creating proof of concepts. Showcase your technical expertise, but think of the big picture.
